Art Society Workshops
Art groups can enjoy their own exclusive workshops with Margaret, for a fantastic price of £80 per person per day. Subject to availability, so book your group date SOON - minimum students 6, and maximum 12. Choose your own title, subject, medium etc, or mix to suit your members requests.
1 or 2 day options are available.
What to bring with you on a workshop
Bring your chosen medium, sketches & photos you would like to work from, paper towels, masking tape, drawing board and easel. Don't buy lots of new materials if you are unsure what you will need. Margaret can advise and save you wasting money, so send her and email and have a chat for absolutely free!
On an outdoor workshop or Paintaway, travel light: If you prefer to be seated, take a sketching stool, easel, a lightweight drawing board, and learn to cut back on your materials, aiming for them to fit into a shoulder bag if possible.
Most of all, bring your smile, a sense of humour, an open mind, and a willingness to try new things and learn!
PERSONALISED CRITIQUE/TUITION SERVICE SINGLE PAINTINGEmail a jpeg of your painting and receive a detailed written critique, mailed back to you with encouraging hints on your style and handling of the medium/subject. Include some detail of your level, how long you have been painting, what style/standards you’d like to aspire to, and which mediums are most interest to you £50
MULTIPLE WORKSend up to 10 images and Margaret will scrutinise the collection and send a written critique, giving an overview of how to improve and develop future work. Work should be dated to establish what progress has been made to date. This critique is for a body of work and not individual pieces, though some may be mentioned to make a point. £125

Private Tuition
If you need INDIVIDUAL help with your painting skills, then Margaret's one-to-one tuition is for you!
A two-hour session will provide private instruction in your particular medium/subject and a critique of your recent work. An ideal place to start if you are new to painting or just lack confidence.
